3 Ways to “Spring Clean” for your Oral Health

It’s that time of year again! Spring cleaning can be one of the most refreshing ways to rejuvenate and clarify your life. While this overhaul typically applies to your home, your oral health can always use a good cleaning. With spring in the air, here are a few ways that you can apply your spring cleaning to your dental health.

Change your toothbrush.

Throughout the year, you should be changing your toothbrush at least every three months. After this amount of time, the bristles on your toothbrush are likely worn out and dirty. For your brush to effectively clean your teeth, we recommend you routinely switch it out. (Make sure to do this throughout the year, not just in the spring!)

Whiten your teeth.

As temperatures increase, your social calendar might be warming up as well. What better time to look into teeth whitening services? At the Dental Care Center, we offer in-office and at-home whitening options to have your smile shining as bright as the spring sun! Visit our website to see which whitening services match your needs.

Visit your dental hygienist.

As we all know, this time of year can be hectic! If you haven’t had your regular checkup yet, be sure to take a moment to call us and schedule your appointment. A cleaning from your dental hygienist is an incredibly important step in your spring cleaning process! This would also be a fantastic opportunity to have any issues checked out, such as any aches. You can even express interest in tooth alignment or same-day dentures.

If you’re getting started on your spring cleaning, go ahead and add a visit to the Dental Care Center to your to-do list. Give us a call or visit our website to schedule an appointment!
