For Your Education

During your checkup or new patient exam, we’ll take pictures of your teeth and gums with an intraoral camera and display them on your chairside monitor. These images will give you a comprehensive view of your oral health to help you make informed decisions about care. The dentist may also create a wax model of your smile, altered to show the effects of proposed therapies. Our CAESY Patient Education System contains short videos about the services we offer.

For Efficient Diagnoses

We use digital X-rays for a complete view of your oral health. Earth-friendly digital X-rays emit about 80% less radiation than traditional radiography and are available for immediate viewing on chairside monitors. In addition, we can electronically submit your X-rays with records to specialists and insurance companies. Our Panorex takes a two-dimensional picture of your oral cavity to aid in precision diagnoses.

vizilite, our new oral cancer-screening tool, uses a special mouth rinse and light to reveal suspicious lesions that require follow-up. Oral cancer claims the lives of 7,500 Americans each year, so our dentists screen for this disease at each new patient exam and checkup. While smoking and drinking alcohol contribute to the risk of oral cancer, anyone can develop the disease. Early detection could save your life.

For Your Enjoyment and Comfort

To make your visit pleasant and comfortable, we offer a variety of amenities, including a children’s area, portable DVD players, iPods, personal music headphones, hand-held games, aromatherapy, warm towels, comfortable blankets, and neck pillows. We’ll even customize your treatment room with your favorite aromatherapy scent and stock it with your preferred fluoride flavor. You can enjoy refreshments in our lobby while watching informative Smile Channel videos on our flat-screen television.
